More About Jodie

The inspirational crochet designs and techniques she sees are amazing. So many things to try and discover! There’s more to her than loving crochet. Here’s her story. She's originally from Melbourne, Australia. She attended the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, where she met her husband. Later she graduated from La Trobe University with a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education.

She taught Food Technology (Home Economics) in a high school. Thanks to her passion for growing organic vegetables and cooking, she joined the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program. Teaching primary school kids to grow vegetables and preparing delicious meals was great fun. In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting, knitting, and drawing.
