The Story

These are a brand created by crocheter and influencer Jessica Carey. They were initially created for JOANN craft stores in the USA but have expanded to include many products and are available in multiple retailers.

The line of hooks includes regular hooks, jumbo hooks, and interchangeable crochet hooks, all made out of resin.

They also sell things like

  • Their hook nook yarn
  • A notions kit including stitch markers and darning needles
  • A yarn passport for keeping track of your projects

The creators have crafted each hook with ergonomics and flexibility in mind, preventing pain or soreness while stitching.

The tapered neck of the hook reduces tension in your stitches, while its shape makes it easy to work with yarn. The unique color of each hook adds a gorgeous aesthetic aspect to your crocheting.

  • Sizes Available – US G – 4.25mm, US H – 5mm, US I – 5.5mm, US J – 6mm, US K – 6.5mm, US L – 8mm, & US N – 10mm
  • Style Of Hook – Inline

  • Hooks are custom-dyed to create a one-of-a-kind crocheting experience.
  • A great range of sizes for a variety of projects
  • These hooks are lightweight, but they don’t feel flimsy. Goodbye, hand pain!
  • The tapered neck helps create even tension, so your projects look even better
  • The hooks are comfortable to use and fit your hand correctly. Hence, the end result is beautiful even with minimal effort
  • Lovely hooks that have a unique aesthetic.
  • The actual tip on these hooks is blunt, so they don’t split the yarn.
  • Easy on the hands, keep crocheting for longer
  • Great for beginners

  • Limited range of sizes
  • The shallow hook shaft may cause the yarn to fall off accidentally
  • Some customers found that the sizing was not entirely accurate. Still, the company has revamped the hooks to avoid this issue
  • They’re made of plastic, so they tend to grab the yarn
  • It’s inconvenient because you’ll have to remember which size hook is which! It isn’t marked on some hooks. On others, it is, but it’s tough to read
  • Although some people may find the shape of these hooks to be perfect, others may find this style unusable
  • Some found the plastic felt a bit poor quality
  • They’re very long, which may make them hard to maneuver or awkward to use
  • Some found it squeaks when you use it with some yarn
  • Others reported it wasn’t very smooth, but they’re easily replaceable, and the craftsmanship has since improved
  • The mouth could be a bit deeper
